Karolidis & Co (Legal) joins forces with award-winning law firm Keypoint Law
We have some exciting news!
Karolidis & Co (Legal) is delighted to join forces with award-winning law firm Keypoint Law, comprising 80+ partner-level lawyers across 25 areas of law with a nationwide footprint.
I will be joining as a Consulting Principal (partner-level) lawyer.
More about Keypoint Law is below.
Why make the change?
- As you likely know, I have always been interested in tech and “doings things differently”. Traditional law firms are outdated and boutique practice misses out on the “efficiencies of scale” and expertise of having a larger team.
- The law is also increasing in complexity and matters often require specialist expertise.
- Keypoint is an innovative firm whereby the Consulting Principals are all on an even level and can “run their own show”, whilst collaborating on matters.
- This provides the best of both worlds for us lawyers, as well as our clients.
What is changing?
For legal matters:
- You will see some branding changes (i.e. email/signatures/letters) for new matters;
- We will be transitioning to the Melbourne CBD office of Keypoint (we will continue operating with a remote meeting preference given its 2025!):
- We can now help you across different States – i.e. if you buy property or establish a business in Sydney, Perth, Brisbane etc., we can now provide wholistic assistance; and
- You will no longer be referred to a different firm for other areas of law, i.e. commercial litigation or contested probate!
What about my on-going legal matter?
Any matters in progress will not be impacted. We are not moving existing matters to Keypoint Law.
What about my on-going tax compliance/returns?
I will continue providing tax return/compliance services through Karolidis & Co (Tax) which will remain separate to Keypoint Law.
Other than operating remotely there will be no changes to tax compliance services.
